ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — St. Johns County Sheriff's Office has released the identities of two men found shot to death Monday night inside a car in West Augustine. The victims are Cody James Bennett, 21, and Tre Devon Lyons, 22, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. Both men are from St. Augustine.
A citizen called police around 11:30 p.m. Monday to report hearing gunfire in the 500 block of North Orange Street. St. Johns County deputies arrived and located a vehicle with Bennett and Lyons inside, a news release states. "The preliminary investigation indicates this is an isolated incident," the news release states. Police have no suspects.
