JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person has died, and multiple people are injured following a crash involving a flipped RV on I-295 Monday, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
JFRD tweeted that the crash happened sometime before 11:30 a.m. on I-295 northbound just east of Old St Augustine Road.
Five people were rushed to the hospital as a result of the crash, officials say.
Four of those individuals have non-life-threatening injuries and one has serious injuries, says JFRD.
One person was declared dead at the scene, JFRD says.
There are multiple lanes closures in the area.
