JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A 23-year-old woman died from a gunshot wound Thursday after being dropped off at the hospital, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Tearra Garrett died at UF Health on Thursday.
JSO said it got a call about a person shot in the 600 block of W. 8th Street, but police couldn't confirm the exact location of where the woman was shot.
Police said an unknown car dropped off the woman at UF Health and took off. Police are now investigating more into this vehicle.
No other details were released at this time.
