Pittsburgh superintendent will wear Jags jersey and make donation following Twitter battle

The Superintendents in Duval and Pittsburgh were in a playful Twitter battle through the playoff game between the Steelers and the Jags.

The Superintendents in Duval and Pittsburgh were in a playful Twitter battle through the playoff game between the Steelers and the Jags.

It all began with Dr. Anthony Hamlet of Pittsburgh Public Schools challenging the DCPS superintendent Dr. Patricia Willis in a tweet. It was for glory and a charitable donation:

Willis accepted and they were off!

And here was the clapback:

Well, by now, you know the fate of the game, but Willis pointed out that Hamlet seemed pretty darn confident in his Steelers.

The schools were in on it too!

But the Steelers lost by three points in the 45-42 game. So Dr. Hamlet has to pony up, and he says he will:

Thanks for the rivalry and the donation to DCPS Homeless Education Fund, Dr. Hamlet. Enjoy the black and teal!
