JACKSONVILLE, FL -- With the strong to severe T-storms now well offshore, we can look forward to a drier change. But that drier and cooler change will come with a price. After strong gusty winds arrived to the First Coast area ahead of the front on Sunday, strong gusty winds will also follow behind the front on Monday. There is a Wind Advisory in effect until 11PM, but very likely a Wind Advisory will again be issued on Monday as gusts reach to 30-35 mph with even stronger gusts in a few spots. This drier air will feel good to the body although not so good for our rather high fire danger. With high pressure building in for most of the week, expect dry and breezy conditions through at least midweek.
Next front is slated to move in by Friday and Saturday along with another chance for Showers and T-storms.
