Truck Spills Jell-O on I-95 in St. Johns County

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FL -- Traffic is moving again along I-95 southbound in southern St. Johns County.

A semi full of Jell-O snack packs overturned after the driver slammed on his brakes at hit another truck in front of him.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says there was a vehicle fire further down I-95 which led to the heavy congestion.

The semi driver was trapped in his truck.

The driver of the semi was flown to Shands with non-life threatening injuries. He was the only one hurt. He's been identified as 36-year-old Lawrence Richie, of Forrest City, Iowa.

The right lane of I-95 southbouhnd, as of 4:09 p.m., remained blocked.

Traffic is moving, but slowly.

Some cars are also still being diverted through the rest area.
