JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Democratic vice presidential candidate Senator Joe Biden today introduced a sharper tone to the Obama-Biden stump.
Biden labeled Republican presidential candidate Senator John McCain "Bush 44" making a point that a McCain presidency would be a continuation of the current administration.
George H. W. Bush was the 41st president, "Bush 41" and of course the current president is known as "Bush 43."
First Coast News anchor Shannon Ogden interviewed Senator Biden today and asked Biden, among many things, who he thought Barack Obama would choose as a running mate.
"I thought he would pick either one of the leading candidates from the state of Virginia - former governor or present governor or the really qualified guy from Indiana Evan Bayh. I didn't expect he'd pick me. I'm flattered he picked me and hopefully I can be helpful. But this is never a job I campaigned for."
Shannon's interview with Biden covers a lot of ground including the financial sector's meltdown and the Obama-Biden prescription for it, his upcoming debate with Governor Sarah Palin and his predictions for the rest of the Jaguars season.
