Undetermined Cause to Northside House Fire

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Firefighters are trying to figure out what caused a fire at an abandoned house on the Northside.

The fire happened at a house off Lem Turner Road, near Smyrna and Palmdale streets.

JFRD spokesman Tom Francis said it took firefighters some time to get the fire under control because of where the house was located. It was wedged between a couple of buildings.

No one was hurt.

Firefighters say the cause of the fire is undetermined.
