ORANGE PARK, FL -- A sailor from Orange Park has died in support of the war on terrorism.
The Department of Defense says Petty Officer 2nd Class Laquita Pate James died February 12 of apparent natural causes.
Pate served as a Navy master-at-arms on the USS Bataan, a multipurpose amphibious assault ship operating off the Horn of Africa.
The cause of death is under investigation.
