JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The best women rowers in the world, including members of the Women's 2008 Gold Medal Rowing Team, join the citizens of the River City to Row for the Cure for breast cancer.
The 2009 Row for the Cure Jacksonville takes place on the St. Johns River. The US Women's Rowing Team, including Olympic Gold Medal winners from the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing are participating because last year's Row for the Cure was the most successful Row in the entire world, raising the most funds in support of the promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
