FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -- Apparently unaware they could find their way past the locked door, a man let police search his home.
He was subsequently arrested based on what deputies found.
Deputies got a tip about a home on County Road 305 near Bunnell, so they knocked on the door.
Rubinel Suarez, 38, answered the door and told them they could search the house.
The deputies wanted to get into the garage, but it was locked and Suarez told them he was only a tenant and didn't have access to it.
The deputies located the key to the garage door on Suarez's keychain and opened the door.
In the garage were more than 30 marijuana plants.
Suarez was arrested and charged with manufacturing cannabis.
