Ride for Somer

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Bikers from all over the First Coast gathered at the Harley Davidson on Baymeadows to Ride for Somer.

The ride was organized to raise money for Somer Thompson who disappeared on her way home from school last month. Her body was found two days later.

A motorcycle group called "Kickstands Up" held the ride.

Motorcyclist could participate in a scavenger hunt, listen to live music, or enjoy the food.

Parents could also get their child an I.D. card and fingerprinting.

A martial arts expert was also on hand to teach kids self defense against someone they think might be attacking them.
