Man Arrested in Stabbing Deaths at Fleming Island Club

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- A man was arrested last night at home in connection with the stabbing deaths of two men at a Fleming Island nightclub.

Cornelius Walston was arrested at his home in Jacksonville in the 4500 block of Royal Avenue by U.S. Marshals. He is being held on two counts of murder in Clay County Jail.

Clay County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Dan Mahla said the investigation continues and more arrests are expected. He declined to be more specific.

Kevin Lee Martin, 24, and David Wiley Smith, 24, of Middleburg, were stabbed to death following a fight around 2 a.m. Oct. 18, outside Club Myth on East West Parkway in Fleming Island.
