JACKSONVILLE, FL -- NFL players Lito Sheppard and Jabar Gaffney are back in their hometown this weekend to provide a free fitness camp for area kids.
The former stars at Raines High School and the University of Florida were the headliners at this one-day clinic held on Saturday at Eugene Butler Middle School on the Northside.
The camp was hosted by Sheppard who's now entering his 7th season with the Philadelphia Eagles. The two-time Pro Bowler is also the subject of many trade rumors this offseason, and he addresses his status in Philly in the video clip attached to this story.
Gaffney also pitched in by working with the few hundred campers who showed up on Saturday. After stops in Houston and Philadelphia, Jabar has found a home with the New England Patriots where he's one of the top three wide receivers on the defending AFC Champ's depth chart along with Randy Moss and Wes Welker.
