Owner of Club Paris Arrested

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The owner of Club Paris at The Jacksonville Landing was arrested early Tuesday morning.

Fred Khalilian is facing charges of battery against a law enforcement officer and drunken and disorderly conduct.

Police arrested him at the Ritz Nightclub in Jacksonville Beach.

They say Khalilian started causing a disturbance and refused to pay his tab.

Khalilian told First Coast News that when he went to close his tab the manager of the Ritz told him he was trespassing.

Khalilian said he didn't do anything and went to an officer who put him under arrest.

Khalilian believes he was setup because the doorman identified him as being the owner of Club Paris.
