    The Buddy Check 12 Clock resides on your computer's desk top and is a functioning real time clock it also provides a monthly reminder on the 12th of every month to perform your self check and remind your buddy to do the same.

    The clock has UHC's patent pending "Infinite Resolution" display technology and features personal alarms and desk top sticky notes. For additional information please visit the UHCLLC website.

    Download and Install Operating systems: Windows 95, 98, ME, NT and 2000. File size: 776K

    Before downloading: If you download the "zipped" version, you will need an archive utiltily such as Winzip installed on your computer to unzip the Buddy Check 12 E-Clock. The Buddy Check 12 E-Clock is only available for a Windows operating system.

    Download Instructions: 1. Download the Buddy Check 12 clock for Windows: zipped or exe. If you download the "exe" version, go to step 4. Download - Select Open or Save Select "Open" or " Save" to continue. If you choose "Save", go to step 2. If you choose Open, go to step 3a.

    2. You may choose your Desktop or another location to save the file to. Click on the Save button to continue. Save As - choose your save location on your computer

    The file will download to your Desktop (or other location you specified above). transferring

    Install icon3. You will see the Install file on the Desktop (or where you chose to save the file). Double-click (click your left mouse button 2 times) over the icon to launch the archive utility (Winzip). This will uncompress the file.

    3a. If you have Winzip, choose "I Agree" to continue. Select I Agree

    4. Double-click (click your left mouse button 2 times) the "Install-BC12Clock.exe" icon to launch the installation program. Double-click Install-BC12Clock.exe

    5. Choose your installation directory. The default directory presented can be used. Click on "Next". Click Next

    6. Installation is complete. Click OK to continue.

    Buddy Check 12 E-Clock Overview

    ON THE 12TH OF EVERY MONTH Buddy Check Day On the 12th of every month, a message will appear from Jeannie Blaylock reminding you to do a self-exam and to remind a buddy as well. Watch First Coast News on NBC12 or ABC25 at 6pm on the 12th of every month for stories of surviving, preventing and testing for breast cancer.

    ACCESS THE E-CLOCK Click on the "Start" button in the lower left side of your computer screen. Select "Programs" then "Buddy Check 12 Clock 1.0".

  • About: E-clock information

  • Help: Get help with using the Buddy Check 12 E-Clock. Help is also available online at the UHC L.L.C website.

  • Size: Choose the size of the E-Clock on your desktop.

  • Position: Choose the default position of the E-Clock on your desktop.

  • Enable Alarms: Choose an Alarm to be played for events you specify in Settings. Alarm sounds or other audio alerts can be downloaded from the Internet from sites. Here are some websites to download sounds: link1 | link2

  • Settings: Customize the E-Clock, notes and alarms.

  • Default All Settings: Removes any custom settings made and returns them to their default positions.

  • Add Note: Add "sticky notes" to your desktop to remind yourself of anything. You can customize the font, style and size. To remove a note, right-click (click your right mouse button once) and select "Remove this note".

  • On Top: Selecting this will keep the Buddy Check 12 E-Clock and Notes at the front of your computer screen no matter how many windows are open on your desktop.

  • Exit: Exit from the Buddy Check 12 E-Clock and Notes.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS Q: Why does my clock look funny - all streaky or washed out? A: Set your display color to greater than 256 colors.

    Q: How do I get it to start when Windows starts? A: Right click the clock. Select Settings - General and check the very first box on the page - Start when Windows starts
