TAMPA, FL -- 10 Connects has just learned that Billy Mays has died at the age of 50.

Tampa Police says Mays was found unresponsive by his wife on Sunday morning. There are no signs of forced entry to the residence and no foul play is suspected.

Mays was known for his television commercials pitching home cleaning products such as OxiClean and Orange Glo. Almost always wearing a blue shirt and sporting a distinctive black beard, Mays famously gave loud sales pitches for his products.

"Although Billy lived a public life, we don't anticipate making any public statements over the next couple of days," Mays' wife Deborah said in a public statement. "Our family asks that you respect our privacy during these difficult times."

The Medical Examiner's Office should complete the autopsy by tomorrow afternoon.
