The Jacksonville Market
The Super City on the First Coast, Jacksonville, hosted the Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005. The Jacksonville DMA is rich in history. Nicknamed the "First Coast" due to the historical status as the first area in the United States colonized by European explorers.

The city of Jacksonville was originally known as the spot shallow enough to cross the St. Johns River and therefore aptly named "Cowford." Today, the area continues to grow and now boasts over a million residents and over 80 corporate and regional headquarters.

With a median age of 35, Jacksonville is the youngest major metro in Florida and is the largest city in the US at 840 square miles. The Jacksonville Jaguars, The Players Championship, PGA Tour, World Golf Village, Jacksonville Suns, Gate River Run, and Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament all call the First Coast "Home".

With miles of beaches, an average temperature of 68 degrees, and a strong local economy, it is easy to see why so many people and so many companies are located here on the First Coast.
