Gateway, satellite vaccinations sites will reopen at 10 a.m.

The closure is due to severe weather coming into the First Coast, according to FEMA.

The satellite sites will only offer second doses, and the hub site will only offer 500 first doses, the rest, second doses.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Gateway Mall COVID-19 vaccination site, along with the Carver Recreational Center and Oceanway Community Center satellite sites will remain closed until Sunday at 10 a.m.

All three sites, as well as the mobile unit at the Community Health Outreach Center, closed Saturday at 3 p.m. due to severe weather.

All sites are scheduled to reopen at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Those with appointments to receive the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine, that were not able to come in Saturday or Sunday before 10 a.m., may come in any time Sunday without rescheduling an appointment, FEMA said.
