A few isolated showers possible, but the main rain event holds off until Friday.
The stormiest weather looks to be late morning into Friday evening.
Flooding will likely be an issue Friday, a Flood Watch is issued late tonight through the day Friday. The rain - heavy at times - will cause some flooding issues. Those with interests in The Suwannee River Valley should listen to statements from emergency managers.
We are also watching the threat of severe weather. Some of the thunderstorms will likely be severe, capable of producing damaging wind gusts of 50-60 mph. Have the First Coast News apps handy and be weather aware!
A few showers linger overnight into Saturday but we quickly dry out for the weekend with temperatures in the low 70s Saturday! Decreasing clouds will be the trend, so plenty of sun into Sunday as highs sink into the mid 60s. We may get a break from the roller coaster rides and active pattern for the next week.
