JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — TODAY: It's a great day to celebrate Earth Day with 100% sunshine and comfortable highs near 80. Many kids are still out of school and yes it will be a great beach day with highs in the middle 70s on the sand. Be careful of increasing rip currents this afternoon due to the high tide and sea breeze.

TONIGHT: There is a big clean-up and yoga at Memorial Park starting at 5:30 p.m. with clear skies and comfortable temperatures falling to near 70.

TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY: We start to heat up but Tuesday will still be comfortable with highs in the lower to middle 80s. By Wednesday, the breeze comes from the southwest and helps to boost highs into the upper 80s.

THURSDAY INTO THE WEEKEND: We'll begin to see a pattern shift with rain chances creeping up. Thursday stays mostly dry with highs soaring to near 90 degrees and a warm, southwest breeze! The Jumbo Shrimp are back in town and we'll have great baseball weather to welcome them back home.

Friday through Sunday is tricky, but latest models are coming into better agreement that most of our rain is Friday with a drier weekend. No severe weather is expected this time around! Highs hold in the lower and middle 80s.
