JTA offering free rides for veterans on Nov. 11

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority is offering free rides to veterans to show its appreciation to veterans for the service they gave to our country.

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority will offer free rides to all veterans on Monday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.

JTA said it wants to show its appreciation to all veterans for the service they gave to our country. To receive the free ride, veterans need to provide the proper form of identification to staff when boarding. 

This deal allows veterans to get complimentary rides on all JTA bus routes, the First Coast Flyer Bus Rapid Transit network and the St. Johns River Ferry.

JTA Administrative Offices will be closed on Veterans Day and will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 8 a.m.
