July 5

4:37 p.m.: There is a semi-truck fire on I-295 south exit ramp to Main Street. Hazmat team has been requested for a fuel pump off. Expect delays.

July 4th

8:39 a.m.: Traffic crash with injuries at 12000 Itani Way, in the Oceanway area, JSO said.

June 30

Crews have responded to a fatal crash in the 8200 block of the Arlington Expressway involving a flipped vehicle. All EB lanes of Arlington Expressway from Townsend to the Southside Connector are blocked.

Traffic is being diverted to the 2nd access road.

June 29

2:52 p.m.: Both directions of Yellow Bluff Rd are blocked from the 15000 block of Yellow Bluff Rd to Eagle Bend Blvd due to a motorcycle accident.

Incident location: Yellow Bluff Rd and Eagle Bend Blvd.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital.

June 28

5:39 p.m.: Crews are working a semi truck fire on I-295 southbound just north of Old St Augustine Road. Expect delays in the area.

June 27 

12:21 p.m.: All NB lanes of Cesery Road closed due to a transformer fire.

10:18 a.m: All lanes NB New Kings Rd closed, and one SB lane closed due to accident with injuries. 

10:14 a.m.: Crash in St. Johns County on 1-95 North, before Mile Marker 316. Both shoulders blocked.

June 23

7:35 p.m.: Crash in St. Johns County on I-95 North, before MM 313. Three Left lanes blocked.

6:23 p.m.: Crews are working a traffic crash in the 9500 block of Baymeadows Road. Officials say this is an MCI LEVEL 1 with at least five patients. JFRD says to avoid the area.

A mass casualty incident (often shortened to MCI) describes an incident in which emergency medical personnel are overwhelmed by the number and severity of patients.

4:11 p.m.: Due to a crash, all lanes on I-295 West Beltway SB at I-95 South End Interchange are blocked. Use caution in the area and seek an alternate route.

2:40 p.m.: Southbound lanes are backed up on I-95 near the Old St. Augustine overpass while officials respond to a crash. One person is trapped in the wreck, according to officials.

June 22

3:22 p.m.: Crash, 95 and International Golf Pkwy. 

SJCFR is responding to a single-vehicle accident at MM324 S. In the area of International Golf Parkway. Due to the vehicle in the median, traffic is backed up in both directions. Use caution if driving in the area.

12:13 p.m.: Crews are working a broken gas line at 103rd and Daniell Terrace, with two lanes westbound closed.  

12:12 a.m.: 2 Lan

June 20

8 p.m. Truck flipped on I-95 northbound near the overpass over Bowden Road. All but one lane is currently blocked.

6 p.m.: Multiple patients in serious condition due to accident on Mayport Crossing Blvd. JFRD just said two cars were involved in this crash. Of the four people injured, one adult and one child have critical injuries. 

2:32 p.m.: Slowdown on 95 south near 295.

Two lanes blocked. Southbound I-95 at I-295 and the ramp of southbound I-295 getting onto I-95 north are blocked due to reported traffic crash.

9:31 a.m.: Beaver St is blocked from Jefferson to Broad due to reported traffic crash.

June 18

12:12 p.m.: Road partially blocked on I-10 westbound at mile marker 354 due to a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. 

June 17

10:08 p.m.: Multi-vehicle crash in Duval County on I-95 North, before Between Butler Blvd/Bowden Rd. Right shoulder blocked. 

2:45 p.m.: Due to a traffic crash, expect extensive traffic delays in the area of I-10 Westbound near Cecil Commerce Parkway. Garbage truck versus disabled tractor-trailer on shoulder. Two transported to hospital. Critical injuries. Right lane is blocked. Expect delays in area.

June 16

5:54 p.m.: Vehicle on fire in St. Johns County on I-95 South, before MM 326. Right lane blocked.

10:15 a.m.: All northbound lanes of I-95 are blocked near US 17 while officials respond to a fatal crash involving three cars. Please use caution and avoid the area.

June 15

9:36 p.m.: NB and SB lanes of N Main Street closed for a vehicle crash 

4:06 p.m.: Crews responded to a traffic accident on 9B northbound exit ramp to I-95 northbound involving a vehicle fire. Single vehicle versus barrier. Fatality confirmed on scene. Roadway is locked. Please avoid area and use alternate route.

12:49 p.m.: Multi-vehicle crash in Duval County on I-95 South, ramp from Main St Bridge. Left lane blocked.

7:15 a.m.: A car fire is causing delays in the Southbound lanes of I-95, near exit 335.

June 10

6:00 a.m.: Eastbound lanes are blocked while officials respond to a flipped semi truck that is leaking fuel at Normandy Boulevard and Blair Road.

June 9

4:45 p.m.: Broken gas line in the 4000 block of Herschel street. 

Crews are responding. Expect delays in the area.

June 8 

6:47 p.m.: Crews are working a traffic accident in the 10300 block of Cisco Drive. One person is trapped. Expect delays in the area.

Update 7:56 p.m.: JFRD said the person was extricated and suffered injuries that were “not serious.” 

Witnesses said driver lost control, went off the road and into a ditch.

No property was damaged, except for a mailbox and a tree that got skinned up.

5:30 a.m.: The road has since been reopened and the crash cleared. 

1 a.m.: I-95 shutdown while officials respond to crash involving two semi trucks - Traffic is being diverted to I-295 East Beltway. 

June 7

CCSO is on scene working a traffic crash involving a vehicle vs. bicyclist on College Dr. near CR 220. FHP has been contacted and will be the lead investigating agency.

June 6

2:57 p.m.: Crews are working a traffic accident in the 14800 block of Normandy Blvd. JFRD reports the one person trapped has been freed. One person was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

June 5 

5:00 p.m.: Two left lanes are blocked on I-95 North near Bowden Road and University Boulevard while officials respond to a crash

4:54 p.m.: All lanes of traffic are blocked on I-95 Northbound at the Butler Boulevard ramp while officials respond to a crash.

9:36 a.m.: All lanes of Blanding Boulevard and I-10 West are now open. 

7:44 a.m.: All lanes of Blanding Boulevard before the intersection with Morse Avenue are closed.
