A vehicle fire has two lanes of I-95 northbound blocked near CR-210 in St. Johns County.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — All lanes of Interstate 95 northbound are back open after a vehicle on fire blocked two lanes earlier Thursday morning just before CR-210 in St. Johns County.

The lane closures caused traffic to back up, creating delays in the area.

First Coast News Traffic Anchor Katie Jeffries said drivers could use U.S. 1 as an alternate route to detour around the lane closures, but as we saw Wednesday when the interstate was shut down due to a deadly crash, that route backs up quickly.
