Sept. 22

12:43 p.m.: Crash in Duval County on SR-202 / Butler Blvd West, before Bonneval Rd.

Sept. 19

5:10 p.m.: Crews are on scene of a chemical leak in the 2700 block of Zoo Parkway, expect delays, the hazmat team is enroute. 

UPDATES: JFRD: Zoo Parkway closed in both directions due to chemical leak

3:35 p.m.: All lanes are back open after a crash at Doctors Lake Drive and Lakeview Drive. The Orange Park Police Department said the incident involved a vehicle versus pedestrian.

First Coast News has learned one person was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

7:10: a.m.: Crews are working an accident involving a city bus on the Arlington Expressway service road. Cesery Blvd is blocked. Expect delays. JFRD said nine people from the wreck have been taken to the hospital, none had life-threatening injuries.

Sept. 18

11:22 p.m.: EB Arlington Expy prior to the Mathews Bridge closed due to a vehicle accident.


8:40 p.m.: All lanes on Philips at Southside are blocked due to an accident with injuries, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

8:25 a.m.: Two lanes are blocked on I-95 NB near International Golf Parkway while officials respond to a crash with a flipped car. Expect delays. 

Sept. 15

10:46 a.m.: Officials are responding to a fatal crash on I-295 SB and San Jose Blvd where a car crashed into a ditch. No other vehicles were involved. Please use caution in the area. 

Sept. 13

2:53 p.m.: Crews are working a traffic accident on I-95 northbound at the Beaver Street exit involving approximately seven vehicles and multiple injuries. Expect delays in the area. Down to one lane.

12:00 p.m.: I-10 Westbound, accident west of Chaffee Rd. One fatality reported by Jacksonville Fire and Rescue. Left lane blocked.

Sept. 11

North and southbound lanes of St. Johns Bluff Road at Lone Star road will be closed until Crag Boulevard. 

Sept. 6

Multiple crews are responding to a traffic crash in the 11200 block of Atlantic Boulevard. This is an MCI Level 1. Be careful in the area and expect delays.

This is near General Doolittle Drive.

Sept. 2

7:16 p.m.: Traffic signal is completely out of service at Beach Blvd and Grove Park Blvd, officers directing traffic both directions. Please avoid the area if possible.

Sept. 1

4:52 p.m.: Abandoned vehicle in Duval County on Mathews Bridge West, before Mathews Bridge. Right lane blocked. 

4:28 p.m.: Crews are working a traffic accident on I-95 south at Airport rd involving a flipped dump truck. The hazmat team was called for diesel spill. No injuries.

3:38 p.m.: SJCFR has responded to a multi-vehicle accident on I95 at MM319 S, near SR16. There are no injuries reported. Expect delays in the area. 

Aug. 31

11:29 a.m.: Vehicle on fire in Duval County on I-95 South, before MM 368. Two right lanes blocked.

Aug. 30

4:45 p.m.

Crews are working a traffic accident on I-95 northbound at the Atlantic Blvd exit involving multiple cars and multiple patients. 

This has been declared an MCI level 1. 

Per the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, six people were transported with minor/non-life-threatening injuries.


After being backed up for hours Tuesday morning, westbound traffic is moving again on the Matthews Bridge.

7:58 a.m.

Aug. 27

9:30 a.m.: Right lane blocked heading north on I-95 near SR 200 in Yulee while officials respond to a crash, expect delays.  

Aug. 26

JSO says Dunn Creek Road will be shut down between Starratt Road and Elmar Road due to a traffic accident. There is no timetable for reopening.

Aug. 25

10 p.m.: A crash has been reported in Duval County on Southside Boulevard North at Baymeadows Road. All lanes closed. The Florida Highway Patrol says this crash is fatal.

Aug. 24

2:35 p.m.: All Northbound lanes of I-95 between State Road 206 and 207 closed while officials respond to a vehicle fire.

Aug. 23

3:29 p.m.: Crews are working a multi-vehicle accident with multiple people injured at Old Middleburg and Gregory Drive. Avoid the area
