The Florida Highway Patrol tweeted that deputies are responding to a fatal crash on First Coast Highway just North of Nassau Bridge.
Troopers say that one person has been pronounced dead on the scene of a two vehicle crash on SR-A1A, just north of the Nassau Sound Bridge.
One patient is being transported to the hospital.
Troopers are asking drivers to seek an alternate route if traveling in that area.
