JACKSONVILLE, Florida — A man is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle Monday afternoon in the southern part of Jacksonville.
The crash happened at about 6 p.m. at the intersection of the E-Town Parkway and State Road 9B, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The motorcyclist, who police said is an unknown male, was traveling east on E-Town Parkway at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene, JSO said.
The crash is under investigation at this time by JSO's Traffic Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit.
