JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office believes the remains of Patricia Parkman, a missing elderly woman, have been found near Interstate-295 on the Westside.
Parkman, 85, suffered from dementia and was reported missing after JSO said she was last seen Jan. 7 on Commonwealth Avenue.

Thursday afternoon, JSO said they may have found Parkman's remains in that area near I-295.
No foul play is suspected, according to JSO.
The exit ramp from southbound I-295 to Commonwealth Avenue has been shut down as JSO investigates with the help of the Florida Highway Patrol, according to a spokesperson for FHP.
