A 54-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Orange Park Friday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Harvey Bruner Jr. was struck by a black Chevrolet HHR at Blanding Boulevard and Spencer Road around 9 p.m.
Troopers said Bruner was attempting to cross Blanding Boulevard from the westside to the eastside by walking eastbound across the southbound travel lanes.
As he was walking, the front of a Chevrolet collided with Bruner and came to a rest facing the southbound area partially in the left and center lane, FHP said.
Bruner was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the Chevrolet was transported to the Orange Park Medical Center with minor injuries.
No charges are pending in the case, and troopers are looking to determine if alcohol was a factor in Bruner's death.
The crash resulted in partial roadblocks both the northbound and southbound lanes of Blanding Boulevard at Spencer Road.
All lanes have since reopened.
