JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 59-year-old man died Sunday morning after being hit by a car in Jacksonville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man was trying to cross I-95 on foot from Golfair Boulevard at about 3:20 a.m. At that time, a northbound sedan driven by a 28-year-old man hit the pedestrian, the FHP said.
First responders pronounced the man dead at the scene.
