Deputies are asking for help finding a vehicle with front-end damage after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run in St. Johns County Friday morning.
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says the incident took place on International Golf Parkway at Royal Pines Parkway between 5 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. Evidence at the scene indicates the woman was walking in or near the traffic-way when she was struck.
Deputies are currently examining the debris at the scene and any video that may have captured any portion of the event.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have observed a vehicle with recent front-end damage, specifically one that has missing headlight components, to contact SJSO immediately.
Multiple lanes of International Golf Parkway WB are closed as a result of the incident. Please avoid the area.
