The Florida Department of Transportation says the bridge is having issues with lowering and fully locking when it is lowered.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Drivers looking to cross the St. Johns River in Downtown Jacksonville should seek an alternate route than the Main Street Bridge Monday afternoon.
