The westbound lanes of Gran Bay Parkway at Philips Highway were closed Tuesday due to a broken water main, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Those lanes have since reopened.
JEA Spokesperson Gina Kyle told First Coast News that the 12-inch water main broke because of mechanical reasons.
