JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a crash with injuries in which a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the Westside Sunday night.
The crash happened at 9:41 p.m. in the 5300 block of Blanding Boulevard, according to JSO.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department rushed the pedestrian, described only as being male, to a local hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.
The pedestrian's injuries were later downgraded to serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
All lanes have reopened in the area.
