Crews responded to a life-threatening crash on Jacksonville's Northside Friday.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says that at 9:30 a.m. Friday a red Chevy Cavalier was traveling southbound on Lannie Road when it lost control and went across oncoming traffic into a ditch. Officers say that when it struck the ditch, it became airborne and struck a tree. Both occupants of the vehicle were killed on impact, JSO says.
The identities of the individuals have yet to be released.
