All lanes of the Dames Point Bridge are back open Saturday morning after a blockage in the Northbound lane, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Around 9:30 a.m. a trailer could be seen hanging off of the bridge in the Northbound lanes.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said that a vehicle reported having problems with a trailer that was attached to it. That trailer somehow ended up over the side of the bridge, JFRD said.
Firefighters said the driver continued driving before eventually returning to see about the unattached trailer.
JFRD responded to the scene and determined that no one was in danger.
By 11:00 a.m. the trailer had been removed from the bridge and FHP reported that all lanes were back open.
