A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Arlington Thursday night.
Around 9:05 p.m., the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the accident happened in the 1000 block of North Arlington Road.
Police say a vehicle was traveling southbound when the driver struck the pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's identity wasn't released.
JSO said the driver remained at the scene.
No other information was released at this time.
