A 59-year-old is dead after a car crash Wednesday in Jacksonville's Oak Hill area, according to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
Troopers say two cars were involved in the crash on State Road 134 and Jammes Road that ultimately killed Marshall Waldeck. He was driving westbound on SR-134 and crossed into the eastbound lanes, colliding with a Lincoln Town Car.
Waldeck was taken to a hospital where he later died, according to FHP.
At the time of the crash, lanes were blocked for hours between Jammes and Dugdale Roads. They are now open.
