PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — A 48-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Putnam County Friday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 7:25 p.m. at Bellamy Road and Ranchette Circle.
The man, only identified as being from Florahome, Florida, was traveling west on Bellamy Road and for unknown reasons, ran off the roadway to the right. The man then overcorrected and overturned his vehicle, FHP said.
FHP said while the vehicle was overturning, he was ejected and died.
According to the traffic report, the man was not wearing a seatbelt.
