Red Gerard: The Cleveland pride picture you have to see

Red Gerard has become an international sensation.

The 17-year-old Rocky River native became the first American to win a gold medal in the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Scrolling through his Instagram page you’ll see Red has shared moments from PyeongChang -- including the scene with his feet perched high atop the Olympic podium.

Dig a little deeper and you’ll find plenty of Instagram pictures of him snowboarding, skateboarding, swimming and hanging out like any other kid.

But there’s one picture that you simply have to see...

It's something he posted more than four years ago on Jan. 9, 2014. The image features Red as a baby wearing a Cleveland Indians onesie.

“Throw back to when I use to live in Ohio,” Red wrote.

Although he now lives in Colorado, he clearly still has hometown pride.
