ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles hosted his foundation's third annual charity golf tournament at the King & Bear Golf Course in World Golf Village on Monday.

The annual tournament benefited the Blake Bortles Foundation, which supports children and adults with intellectual developmental disabilities and first responders in Jacksonville and Oviedo, Fla.

Bortles was joined by current and former Jaguars players who took part in the tournament. The group of celebrity golfers included All-Pro guard Andrew Norwell, center Brandon Linder, special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis, New England Patriots lineman Luke Bowanko, former Jacksonville kicker Josh Scobee and former punter Adam Podlesh.

"It's awesome, [Norwell has] been incredible," Bortles said regarding the celebrity turnout.

"There's a bunch of guys on our team [here], there's a bunch of guys that would have loved to be here but they have other things going on, which is totally understandable ... But to have a guy like Norwell show up, who just got to Jacksonville, who is a big signee, it's pretty awesome and I'm very thankful [for] his support."

Bortles and his teammates are just a few weeks away from returning to TIAA Bank Field for the Jaguars' annual training camp. The fifth-year quarterback will spend the next few weeks preparing for what could be the most important training camp of his career.

"I'll be here for another week or so and then go out to California and get with [quarterback gurus Tom House and Adam Dedeaux] and [start] throwing and get ready to go for camp."
