The Jaguars made a minor move on Tuesday after losing Jacksonville native Rashod Hill to the Minnesota Vikings.
Hill was signed off the practice squad by the Vikings. He had been with the team since joining the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in May. Hill was waived during final cuts in September and was added to the practice squad.
Hill was promoted to the active roster in Week 3 but did not appear in the game against the Baltimore Ravens. He was waived again and re-signed to the practice roster.
The Ed White High School alum will now join a Vikings roster with several injuries along the offensive line.
Jaguars sign Uzdavinis to practice squad
Hill's replacement will be rookie offensive tackle Arturo Uzdavinis. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound lineman signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in May. He was waived by the Texans on Aug. 30.
Uzdavinis recently spent a week on the Chicago Bears practice squad.
