JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars have released quarterback Blake Bortles after five seasons with the team.
The Jaguars are reportedly signing Super Bowl-winning quarterback Nick Foles to a 4-year, $88 million contract.
Bortles played in 75 games for the Jaguars, completing 59.3% of his passes and throwing for 17,646 yards. He threw 103 touchdowns to 75 interceptions.
Bortles holds the team's single-season passing yards and touchdown record.
Many fans are sad to see him go, while others think it's a good move for the team.
