The press conference included an opening statement from Executive Vice President of Football Operations Tom Coughlin, where he asked a special tongue-in-cheek request of Foles for the upcoming season.

"Our goal is to bring a Super Bowl championship here to Jacksonville," Coughlin began. "Now I do have one request of Nick before I introduce him. And that is that I hope every game in 2019 is like the Oakland game of 2013 where he threw seven touchdowns, no interceptions, and had a perfect 158.3 quarterback rating."

Foles wore the number nine with the Eagles, but will wear seven with the Jaguars. He said it's the first time he'll get to wear the number since leaving high school.

The contract between Foles and the Jaguars is a 4-year, $88 million deal with $50 million guaranteed, according to NFL Network.
