JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Blake Bortles will get the start in the Jaguars regular season finale against the Houston Texans Sunday.
Doug Marrone made the announcement Monday, saying he feels like Blake’s mobility will give the team a better chance.
Bortles replaced Cody Kessler late in the 3rd quarter in Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
Bortles completed 5-of-6 passes for 59 yards in the 17-7 win over the Dolphins.
Kessler has thrown two touchdowns and two interceptions with the Jaguars this season.
The Jaguars will face the Texans in Houston Sunday at 1 p.m.
