Another Grinch stealing Christmas presents right off somebody’s porch. On Monday, the homeowner checked her security cameras and saw a woman stealing two packages from her home.
Hattie Bowens says she’s changing her shopping ways after some packages were stolen off of her porch.
It’s the first time something like this has happened to Bowens.
Hattie Bowens thought she could check off a gift on her wish list.
“It was two pairs of [Ugg] boots, one for me and one for my daughter,” Bowens said.
Bowens learned her package arrived. She checked her security cameras to see if the gift was still on her porch.
Instead, she saw the woman stealing her gifts.
"When I looked at my phone to see if it was there, I saw the lady going on my porch, picking up my boxes," Bowens said.
"What was more aggravating than anything, you pulled into my driveway, got out of your car nonchalant,” Bowens added.
Bowens got a refund for her boots and a lesson to learn for shopping online in the future.
"I'll have to use my phone, make sure I'm home when my deliveries are coming, and it's just the times, we have to be careful," Bowens said.
