The State of Florida has reached an agreement Friday with four Ponte Vedra landowners for beach scraping.

One of the landowners who received a letter from the DEP was Catherine Munoz, the wife of the CEO of United Airlines. The letter states that this violation of Florida State statute could result in liability for damages and restoration and civil penalties.

Munoz's attorney said she will pay $24,000 to resolve the issue with the DEP.

The other three will pay the following:

  • Margaret C. Conolly: $24,000
  • Christopher and Letitia Aitken: $33,000
  • David and Patricia Brown: $24,000
