UPDATE: 7/12 9:10 p.m. | The daughter of Earnest Overcash told First Coast News that her father was found Friday morning. He had been missing since Monday morning.
The family of a missing 59-year-old man with a history of mental health issues is desperately hoping for his safe return.
Earnest Overcash was last seen at an assisted living facility in the Riverside area on Monday morning. JSO said police responded to the 1100 block of Barrs Street and were told by staff that Overcash said he was going out for a walk around 7 a.m. but according to his family, he never returned.
His family says that Overcash suffers from depression and bipolar disorder.
He's described as having gray hair, green eyes, standing 5 foot 11 inches and weighing 180 pounds. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
