President Donald Trump responded to Robert De Niro's explicit comments towards him at the Tony Awards Sunday night.

When taking the stage to introduce Bruce Springsteen's performance at the awards, De Niro didn't waste any time letting the f-bombs fly in his comments about the president.

"I'm gonna say one thing: (expletive) Trump!" he exclaimed. "It's no longer down with Trump, it's (expletive) Trump!"

President Trump tweeted early Wednesday morning that he watched De Niro's speech Tuesday night and thinks De Niro may have been "punch-drunk" during his speech, and called him "a very Low IQ individual," who has "received too many shots to the head by real boxers in movies."
