How much Florida counties are spending from Guardian program

After the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas in 2018, millions of dollars were allocated for Florida schools to help fund the Guardian program.

The school safety program allows teachers who wish to be armed on campus to go through hours of training to do so, in hopes to prevent future school shooters. 

The State approved $67 million to be allocated to the program, with 24 counties having already spent $9.3 million. 

Duval County has spent $378,041.
